in the fast-growing northern part of Durbanville,
we are a true community pharmacy and clinic.
We pride ourselves on great service to our customers,
some of whom have been with us since the pharmacy
was established in 1994!
The friendly staff of Goedemoed Pharmacy and
Primary Care Clinic strive to always do our
best for our customers; going the extra mile
to source products or information for patients.
We also enjoy a close relationship with many
of the retirement villages and old-age homes
in Durbanville, delivering medication to them
free of charge.

We
offer a full range of services to our patients.
We are contracted in to most medical aids and
offer various payments options. These include
credit and debit cards, Diners Club and Cape
Consumer facilities. Electronic Fund Transfers
(EFT) are also becoming popular.
Besides the dispensing of prescription medication,
we have a comprehensive front-shop, making us
your first stop for minor ailments ranging from
coughs and colds to eczema, hay-fever, children's
diseases and pain. We are always ready to give
advice.
In addition to the pharmacy we have a primary
care clinic available offering services including
baby health, immunizations (both state and private),
family planning, etc. But, more importantly,
as a primary care clinic, we have a nursing
practitioner available who is able to diagnose
and prescribe medication for the treatment of
uncomplicated illnesses or conditions. These
include, amongst others, influenza, bronchitis,
ear infections, urinary tract infections, STD's,
wound care, hypertension and diabetes. The clinic
operates under the supervision of a local doctor
and a referral system is in place for any condition
outside our sister's scope of practice.
