We Can Help |
For
nearly 30 years, our acclaimed, self development
drama programme has been helping people
(5-18 years and adults) to act confidently and
speak clearly. Enthusiastic teachers and a dynamic
learning environment motivate students to participate
willingly and achieve their personal best, at
all levels of development. |
| Experience
and Expertise |
| All
our staff are qualified drama teachers and undergo
regular training In the Helen O’Grady Drama programme
which is used exclusively in all our classes worldwide.
The class teacher develops a personal rapport
with each student and the Principal attends classes
regularly to monitor progress. |
| The
Programme |
| Our
acclaimed programme encompasses a huge body of
development drama activities aimed at increasing
the creativity, confidence, communication and
performance skills of all students. Enthusiastic
participation is encouraged at all times and students
present a short, scripted production at the end
of each year for family and friends. Above all,
our classes are fun! |
| Youth |
| It
is possible for a student to enrol with the Academy
and attend classes from 13 years without ever
repeating a lesson! The sliding scale of languages
development inbuilt into the curriculum, enables
students of different ages and abilities to relate
readily to the programme and to progress at the
rate most suitable to their present needs. Ideally,
students should be encouraged to attend classes
for at least two years, as the programme has been
designed to give them an escalating benefit over
that period. However, even attendance for a minimum
of four terms should produce pleasing results.
Special achievement certificates are awarded to
all students as they complete each full year at
the Academy. |

social and professional lives. |

| Our
teaching year follows the school year and fees
are charge on a term by term basis. Special discounts
are available where two or more members of the
