What we do
Reflectionz is an innovative company offering
a new and unique concept of therapy and
learning!
It
is a hands-on approach involving ground-based
activities in which we partner with horses
to bring about emotional growth and learning.
Because
horses use body language to communicate,
they are naturally able to read human
body language and respond appropriately
to deliver a message. This allows the
process to be self-reflective and powerful
whereby the horses and activities create
a metaphorical link to the client’s life.
Reflectionz
offers this experience to the youth, youth
at risk, for team building, skills development
and growth as well as for therapy.
As
the activities are ground-based, there
is no riding and no horse experience is
required for this process.

What is Equine Assisted Growth and Learning
(EAL)?
Equine Assisted Growth and Learning (EAL)
is an experiential, client-centered process
where horses “teach” us about ourselves.
It is a collaborative partnership between
horses and humans, assisting one in one’s
personal journey of growth and development.
The process is self-reflective and powerful,
whereby the horses and activities create
a metaphorical link to the client’s life.
It engages them mentally, physically and
emotionally all at the same time, allowing
them to apply what they learn immediately
to life.
EAL sessions are focused on developing client’s
skills, such as communication, team work,
creative thinking, and decision making.
We take safety very seriously and our team
of internationally certified facilitators
work to provide an emotionally and physically
safe environment for participants and for
horses. There is NO horse riding in EAL
and NO horse experience is required.
Sessions are aimed at ages nine and upwards,
however they can be tailored to suit specific
requirements. We offer skills development,
behavioural, and drug awareness programmes,
as well as leadership programmes. We are
also able to cater for those with learning
difficulties. These programmes can be facilitated
for individuals, couples, families, or groups. |
BIRTHDAY PARTIES!!
Reflectionz offers children’s birthday parties
with a difference! We cater for ages 7 and
up, and are able to tailor-make your child’s
party to suit your needs. Parties can include
treasure hunts, equine activities, equine
education, catering and more!
